Elections of members of the Scientific Committees of the Polish Academy of Sciences

In accordance with the Resolution of the Bureau of the Polish Academy of Sciences No. 50/2019 of September 17, 2019 on the rules of procedure for the election of members and bodies of scientific committees, the election of members of scientific committees of the Polish Academy of Sciences for the 2020-2023 term of office begins. Elections are conducted electronically. The voting system ensures the secrecy of elections, quick counting of votes and the due protection of personal data.

November 12-20, 2019 Registration of candidates in the election system
November 22 – December 4, 2019 Verification of applications by commissions of the committees of the PAS
December 5-6, 2019 Verification of applications by commissions of the faculties of the PAS
December 9-11, 2019 Verification of applications in the election system
December 16-20, 2019 Elections
January 6-15, 2020 By-elections

A candidate for a committee member may be a person who holds at least the postdoctoral degree.
